At the Cheyenne YMCA, we are proud to recognize and celebrate the service and sacrifices of our military members, veterans, and their families. Throughout the month of May, we invite you to join us for special events, activities, and opportunities to connect with veteran-support organizations. From appreciation events to family fun days, there’s something for everyone.

May 1 – Loyalty Kick-Off Day
Coffee & Donuts Reception | 8:00 AM – 10:00 AM

May 4 – Armed Services Basketball Drop-In
Free drop-in basketball for anyone with a military or veteran ID

May 5 – American Legion Information Booth
Learn about The American Legion | 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM

May 6 – VA Information Booth
Connect with the local Veterans Association | 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM

May 7 – Wyoming Veterans Commission Booth
Learn about services for Wyoming veterans | 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM

May 8 – VE Day Potluck & Speakers
Join us for a community potluck & hear from veterans sharing their experiences

May 10 – Combat Vets Car & Bike Show & Food Trucks
Enjoy classic cars, motorcycles, and great food!

May 17 – Military Family Appreciation Day
Fun activities for the whole family!
Gym time: 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Family Swim: 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM
No guest fees for military families

May 26 – Recognition Wall
Honor military members with a photo and personal message on our Recognition Wall
