- FREE family membership for staff who work 10+ hours/week. From teens to seniors, this benefit impacts the entire household.
- Free and discounted programs!
- Staff who work 10+ hours/week enjoy free YMCA Camp Noco (traditional day camp), youth sports, learn to skate and swim lessons and 50% off YMCA Camp Santa Maria (our overnight camp in Bailey), specialty day camps, personal training and childcare
(after-school and preschool).
- Staff who work 20+ hours/week enjoy all those discounts plus free childcare (after-school and preschool) and begin the path to earn 10% contributions to their YMCA retirement fund.
- Payment plan for fee-based programs.
- Part-time staff begin earning sick time beginning on day 1 of employment. Full-time staff have 88 hours of sick leave from day 1. Sick time can be used for your family, your pet or yourself, including for mental or physical wellness.
- All full-time staff enjoy a minimum of 3 weeks paid vacation. Increased vacation days are awarded to full-time staff based on professional work experience. For example, someone that has held a professional job for 4 full years enjoys 5 weeks of vacation
when they join the Y team.
- Juneteenth added as a paid holiday (a total of 8 paid holidays/year) for full-time staff.

- We are a nonprofit organization. If you have student loan debt, you may be eligible for loan forgiveness, cancellation, and/or consolidation of federal student loans under the Public Service Loan Forgiveness program.
